Most people at some times in their lives experience painful and challenging emotions that can be difficult to make sense of. It can help to find professional support to address the problems and feelings you are facing.

Counselling is different to talking to family and friends and you may find you can be more open and honest about your life. It is a professional and confidential treatment that helps to clarify and resolve issues that concern you at this time. As a psychotherapeutic counsellor I work collaboratively and non-judgementally with you to explore and make sense of your concerns. This process helps to develop self-awareness and skills so that you can make changes if this is what you want.

Many people come for counselling because they want to live differently, more as themselves and with greater creativity in their lives but they feel conflicted or stuck in repeated patterns. Others have a specific issue they wish to resolve. Counselling can help to work through what is troubling you and this can lead to greater well-being in many areas.

The relationship between you and your counsellor is important and this includes being able to trust and feel comfortable with your counsellor.
Counsellors are bound by a strict code of ethics that ensures your confidentiality is maintained.

Every one is individual and unique and will have different experiences. You can contact me for a confidential discussion and more information. I offer an initial 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss your concerns, with no obligation.
